YAPC(Yet Another Perl Conference) is a technical conference dedicatd to Perl and surrounding technologies. It is being held all over the world including YAPC::NA (North America) and YAPC::EU (Europe) among others. YAPC::Asia Tokyo started in 2006, and quickly became the world's largest YAPC, gathering almost 600 attendees.
This year marks the first year that Japan Perl Association (JPA) hosts the event.
