This YAPC schedule is so packed and there won't be many time slots available for random BOFs and meetups: I propose doing BOFs at the hallway track of pre-conference meeting (Wednesday 18:30-21:00) and 1st day after the lightning talk (18:30-19:30).

miyagawa has a proposal to drop HTTP::Engine::Interface and make WSGI/rack-like specification, not the implementation, and make HTTP::Engine as a wrapper API on top of the specification. This should be helpful to optimize performance, as well as adapting HTTP::Engine applications in more environments, without thinking about nor learning about HTTP::Engine implementations.
Also, nothingmuch has a suggestion to make CondVar based AnyEvent asynchronous implementation, also an idea of using libcurl for multi-threaded request parsing.
